Having coached for many years, I have found that many players have a hard time laying down a bunt on command.

I feel one of the main reasons for this is that players do not take the time to watch the ball hit the bat. They are either looking at where they want the ball to go, or they pull their head at the last second.

The whole idea behind the bunting sock is to force a player to watch the bat until the ball hits the bat. This will help the player to see the ball they are bunting instead of just sticking a bat in the strike zone and hoping the ball will hit it. This in turn will create a better bunter.

The buntsock is great for softball or baseball.
